Some of our reviews

This Killarney home is the cutest with the most gorgeous views. The mountains and countless sheep are visible from the various windows the home offers. My boyfriend and I were sick at the start of our stay unfortunately but this home made that hurdle much easier and so comfortable that we were still able to enjoy it! I almost believe it healed us lol. The hosts are so sweet and friendly, we are so happy this place was part of our trip. :)

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, very cozy, and stunning views all around. A beautiful area not far from Killarney town and/or nature escapes. We absolutely loved staying here for the weekend!

This place is almost indescribable. Very unique and honestly... magical. If you want something that is authentically Irish and that takes you back in time, book this spot. Amazing place to reset. Its hard to get a sense of what this place is until you are there in person. Only a lame person, or a person with an unreasonable fear of sheep, would hate this place.

This cottage truly feels like something out of a fairy tale. Surrounded by rolling hills/mountains, lively streams and plenty of sheep, it offers an authentic and peaceful Irish countryside experience. The night skies are incredible...perfect for stargazing! We felt completely at home at Pat’s cottage and the wood-burning stove added a warm, cozy touch that made the stay even more special. This is a place you don’t just visit, you experience! We’ll absolutely be back to create more memories here!

Frequently asked questions

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes! While the Gap of Dunloe offers a perfect escape into nature, our cottages do have Wi-Fi included so you can stay connected.

How far are you from Killarney?

We are wonderfully secluded yet highly accessible, located just 8 to 12 km from Killarney town: about a 10 to 15-minute drive.

Do I need a car and is there parking?

Yes, a car is highly recommended to explore the area. Local guests have full driving access to reach the cottages, and free parking is available right on the premises.

Are pets allowed?

We’re sorry, but pets are not allowed at the property. We want to keep the space comfortable and suitable for all guests.

Are the cottages suitable for families?

It depends on the cottage and the age of your children. The 1 Bed Cottage is designed primarily for couples. The Shepherd's Cottage can sleep up to 5 people, but please note that the extra single beds are located on two mezzanine levels accessed by ladders. For this reason, it is not recommended for toddlers or very young children, but older children will love the unique experience!
